The journals “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Humanities”, “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Education and teaching”, “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Social sciences” are peer-reviewed academic journals which publish research papers pertaining to the fields of humanities, education and social sciences. The journals are included in the list of peer-reviewed periodicals approved by the Higher State Commission for publishing the results of Ph.D. or doctorate (Dr.habil.) research. The journals are registered in the International Centre and have an international standard serial number ISSN. They are included in the data base of the Russian index of science citation (RSCI).

“Vestnik” was founded in 1940 at Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (later named as MSLU). Since 2002 the issues have been regularly published under the title “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University”. In 2014 “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University” became an online journal (free access is available on the website: www.vestnik-mslu.ru) and can be found on the website of the Scientific Electronic Library (www.elibrary.ru). In 2016 Vestnik was transformed into 3 series, each constituting a separate journal, and since June 10, 2016, it has been released as “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Humanities”, “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Education and teaching”, “Vestnik of Moscow State Linguistic University. Social sciences”.

The journals publish papers with the results of original research on a wide range of current issues in Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, focusing on interdisciplinary studies as well. The journals are intended for scholars, academic staff, postgraduates, Ph.D. and Master students, interested in the topical issues of contemporary research in Russia and worldwide. The journals are considered international regarding the members of their editorial boards, experts, contributing authors, and the topics for publication.
